It was a scorching hot summer day. One crow was very thirsty. "I'm so thirsty." The thirstycrow roamed around looking for water.
After flying for a long time, the crow found a waterbottle in one of the farmer's yard.
The crow was so happy that he was able to have a drink.
那是一个炎热的夏天。乌鸦非常渴。“好渴啊。”口渴的乌鸦在四处找水喝。
飞了很久后，乌鸦在农夫的院子里发现一个水瓶子。乌鸦很高兴，终于找到水了。
The crow put his beak into the bottle. However, because the bottle was so long,
he was notable to reach the water. The crow was exhausted.
乌鸦把嘴伸进瓶子里。可是瓶子太长了，他够不着水。乌鸦累的筋疲力尽。
'Should I go some other place for a drink?' He thought.
However, because his wings were damage, he was not able to move. "What shall I do?”
他想“要不我再去其他地方找水喝吧？”但是因为翅膀受伤了，他动弹不了。“我该怎么办？”
The crow flew round and round the farmer's yard, and thought.
"Sure, that's what I will do."The crow had an idea.
乌鸦在农夫的院子里踱来踱去，想了又想。“对了，我可以这样做啊。”乌鸦想到一个主意。
With all his strength, the crow started picking up stones. "One, two." He did this several timesuntil the bottle was filled with stones.
Then the crow drank a lot of water. Finally, the crow hadenough strength to fly again.
乌鸦使劲浑身力气，开始捡石头。“一、两个...”他一直捡一直捡，直到瓶子里装满了石头。
就这样，乌鸦喝了很多水。最后，乌鸦恢复了力气就飞走了。
